Based in Paris and benefiting from a strong historical presence in China since its creation, further strengthened by the establishment of its sister company, Beijing Huashenglang Media Co., Ltd., no country pursues its original mission through three complementary activities developed in parallel:

1. Distribution of international content in China

Thanks to its in-depth knowledge of:

• the needs of China’s diverse audiovisual buyers, including TV broadcasters, new media platforms, museums, and scientific, cultural, artistic and commercial organisations, across a wide range of genres and formats: documentaries (one-offs and series), documentary films, drama series, lifestyle programmes, live performances, in HD, 4K UHD and 3D formats, immersive VR projects, etc.;
• the global audiovisual content market.

Since its creation, no country has supplied its Chinese partners with more than 1,000 hours of international audiovisual content across all genres and formats.

2. Production of documentaries for international audiences

By offering a well-informed perspective on China, focusing on subjects with universal relevance and giving them an accessible editorial treatment for international audiences, no country draws on:

• its solid knowledge of China, the home country of its founder, its history, culture and contemporary transformations, combined with no country’s expertise in in-depth research and its ability to initiate international coproductions, helping to secure international financing and local production support;
• its thorough and constantly updated understanding of the editorial priorities of leading broadcasters worldwide in documentary programming, developed through regular participation in audiovisual markets and careful, ongoing analysis of broadcasters’ programming strategies and communications.

3. Coproduction and executive production 

Benefiting from its base in France and its longstanding presence in China, further strengthened by the creation of its sister company, Beijing Huashenglang Media Co., Ltd., no country develops its own documentary projects and also participates in projects initiated by other producers, notably through international coproductions between Europe and China.

no country participates in securing financing in both Europe and China and can provide executive production services in China or Europe, depending on the needs of the producers concerned.
